The court of Sevastopol obliged the Crimean eparchy of the Ukrainian orthodox church of Patriarchate of Kiev (UOC POK) to vacate a part of temple premises and to pay a fine.

The court obliged the UOC POK to pay 0.5 million rubles to the “Ministry” of property and land relations of Crimea, and to vacate 112 sq. meters of premises on the ground floor of the Cathedral of the Saints Vladimir and Olga in Simferopol.

“The session of the appeal court of Sevastopol, where we complained to cancel the decision of the arbitration court of Crimea from January 14, 2016 to vacate a part of the church premises and enormous penalty, took place on June 14. The appeal court upheld the decision of the arbitration court. Now we are waiting for the enforcement service, which will arrive any day to put the decision into effect,” said Metropolitan of Simferopol and Crimea Clement.

Also he reported that he had been under pressure and threatened recently.
