Ukraine is going to confiscate a vessel, called at the annexed Crimea

Sky Moon vessel detained by Ukrainian border guards and called at ports of the annexed Crimea may be confiscated in profit of state.

The State Border Service of Ukraine reports that Sky Moon is the first foreign vessel to confiscate for calling at ports of the occupied territory of Ukraine.

Sky Moon cargo vessel flying the flag of Tanzania with the citizens of Libya and Syria on board was detained by border guards for violation of rules of visiting the territory of Crimea on November 30.

Ukrainian marine border guards detained Sky Moon in the Ukrainian internal waters of the Danube River and, despite the resistance of the crew, took the vessel to the Ukrainian port of Reni.

For violations of the Ukrainian legislation the master of the vessel and the crew face a fine or an administrative arrest for up to 15 days.
