Yesterday, the 1st of February, a protest rally organized by local entrepreneurs disagreed with the new rent tariffs for trading places took place on the central market of Kerch (Crimea).

One of the participants complained that her rent expenditures had increased by 2.5 times from 18 thousand to 44 thousand rubles.

Some businessmen said that they were ready to block the ferry, which connected Crimea with Russia in order to draw attention and to reduce the rent.

They also stated that they would be forced to raise prices for goods if the rent was not pulled down. But this will only worsen the situation, and many of them will have to stop their business.
