One of the right-wing political forces in Italy, the “Brothers of Italy” party criticized the deputies of the Council of Liguria for their resolution calling the Government and the Parliament to revise the EU Russian and Crimean policy.
This was announced by the Ukrainian Ambassador to Italy Yevhen Perelygin.
“Not all of the right-wing political forces in Italy support the policy of recognition of Crimea part of the Russian Federation and the unconditional lifting of sanctions against Russia,” said the Ambassador.
According to his information, the Coordinating Council of the “Brothers of Italy” party from the Liguria region adopted a declaration concerning the pro-Russian bias of the resolution of the Council of Liguria and criticized his Ligurian fellow deputies from the right political wing.
The “Brothers of Italy” accused the regional deputies of playing to the opinion of the “Lega Nord” pro-Russian party, said Perelygin.
Also he quoted the statement of the “Brothers of Italy” Coordination Council, which stresses that the current Italian right-wing policy “retraces the same path of the lefts in previous historical epoch that aped the MFA, taking the Declaration against Cuba and Vietnam instead of taking care of their city”.
Earlier the Regional Council of Liguria voted for a resolution calling on the Government and the Parliament of Italy to revise of the EU Russian and Crimean policy.
