A resident of Energodar (Ukraine) Evgeny Panov made under torture confession about his allegedly subversive activities in Crimea.

This was reported by the Crimean human rights group Coordinator Olga Skripnik at a press conference in Kiev.

According to her the human rights defenders received the information about Panov’s tortures from a source close to the security forces in Crimea. The source insists that the detainee has been beaten for three days, tortured and threatened with sexual violence.

The same is said by the detainee’s brother Igor Kotelyanets. “He was tortured by several people. He was handcuffed, tied to a chair and put a bag on his head. Then the helpless man was wired and connected to electrical current. The law-enforcers offered Panov sexual violence,” Kotelyanets conveyed the words of the source.

As earlier reported, the FSB said about the prevention of terrorist acts in Crimea, allegedly prepared by the Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

Also the FSB stated about the supposedly “elimination of an intelligence network of the Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine” and the detention of an intelligence officer Evgeny Panov.
