The so-called “Prosecutor” of Crimea Natalia Poklonskaya announced the basic version of investigation on the case of a member of the Coordinating Council of the World Congress of Crimean Tatars Erwin Ibragimov’s kidnapping.

“There are three key versions of missing Ibragimov. First, it’s a ransom or a blackmail kidnapping. Second, a kidnapping associated with Ibragimov’s commercial activities. And third, a kidnapping to destabilize the situation in Crimea and slander the law enforcement authorities of Crimea,” told Poklonskaya to the pro-government Crimean Tatar TV channel “Millet”.

Also she affirms that the Internet videotape with Ibragimov’s kidnapping by people in the uniform of traffic police is hoax.

“The police post does not exist, the car is not registered as a police one,” she assured.

According to Poklonskaya, there are three total cases of Crimean Tatars’ kidnapping investigated in Crimea.

As a reminder, activist Erwin Ibragimov has disappeared in Crimea. Friends and relatives believe he is detained by the Russian security forces.

Later a video of Ibragimov’s kidnapping by men in uniform of the Russian police appeared in the Internet.
