Russian lawyer Nicholay Polozov, a Nadezhda Savchenko’s defense counselor, who is a Deputy Chairman of the Crimean Tatar people Mejlis Ahtem Çiygoz’s lawyer now, said that investigators from the Federal Security Service (FSB) were seeking to interrogate him within a criminal case investigated in Crimea.
“I don’t know why they want to interrogate me and what investigative actions to conduct. I know no more than that is written in the summons. What is that criminal case, why is the FSB?” said Polozov.
According to him, he has received the summons, requiring a scheduled meeting of the “Supreme Court” of Crimea in Simferopol on 8 November on the appeal of the Prosecutor, who appeals the decision of the District Court on the refusal to conduct investigations concerning Polozov.
The lawyer himself regards this summons as an attempt to put strain on him.
