Seven locations are searched on the journalist case in Crimea


Russian security forces have simultaneously searched seven homes during the criminal investigation on the extremism accusation of the journalist of the “Crimea.Realities” site Mykola Semena in Crimea.

“The searches are held in five locations in Simferopol, one in Yalta, as well as one in Sevastopol,” said an enforcement source.

Computer hardware and equipment are seized from the “Crimea.Realities” staff in Simferopol and Yalta.

As previously reported, the “Crimea.Realities” (the Radio Liberty regional branch) journalist Mykola Semena is accused of “inciting to a violation of the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation”.
