Russian pranksters Vladimir Kuznetsov and Alexei Stolyarov, known as “Vovan” and “Lexus”, reported on they conversations with the people’s Deputy of Ukraine Mustafa Dzhemilev and the coordinator of the blockade of Crimea Lenur Islyamov.
The pranksters decided to schmooze with Dzhemilev and Islyamov after the food blockade of Crimea started. At that moment they had not Islyamov’s phone number in their database, so they phoned Mustafa Dzhemilev on behalf of the Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Anton Gerashchenko and the Adviser to the Interior Minister Arsen Avakov. “We asked him about the situation and whether Avakov could help. Then he was pleased and told about the situation. I promised to provide assistance and asked the phone number of the direct coordinator in Kherson region Lenur Islyamov. He gave it to me,” told Stolyarov.
Moreover, Dzhemilev got in touch by phone with Islyamov and persuaded him on the pranksters’ request to talk to the imaginary “Anton Gerashchenko”. And when the young people called Islyamov, he did not doubt that he was talking to the Adviser to the Interior Minister.
After the power lines blow-up on the “border” with Crimea Islyamov called the pranksters demanding to connect him with Avakov. He called “Adviser Avakov” to affect the Kherson police which was tried to break up the “blockers”. “When the explosion occurred, we directly asked him whether his people had done it, and he said: “Well, yes, these guys are good and they are heroes”. Then one of the Islyamov’s fighters was suspected and he stated that if even one hair fell from that guy’s head, he didn’t know what he would do,” told the prankster.
