Russian enforcers have raided a mosque in Simferopol

Armed Russian policemen have searched a mosque in Simferopol (Crimea).

This was announced by the Mufti of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Ukraine “UMMA” Said Ismagilov.

According to the Mufti, armed Russian policemen have raided the premises of the mosque and blocked all entrances. Any prayers were not allowed in the mosque during the day.

“This is the third search in this cult building. Each previous one the invaders placed in the mosque literature which is banned in Russia. The Imam of the mosque checks every nook and cranny in the mosque several times a day carefully knowing that it may recur at any time. So this time a package with two books “Three basics” by Muhammad Abdel-Wahhab was dropped in the yard near the toilet! They apparently are so ignorant that they do not know that Muslims do not go to the toilet with books, especially with religious ones. Bringing religious literature to places of hygiene (toilet, bath, shower, etc.) or keeping them around is strictly prohibited. Moreover, according to the Imam, the “Three basics” books have never been on the shelves of the mosque, nor in the library of the mosque,” said Ismagilov.
