Speaker of the Border Guard Service of Ukraine Oleg Slobodian states an increased activity of Russian aviation and land military hardware near the administrative border of the annexed Crimea during the last three days.
“During the last three days we have monitored an increased activity of Russian aviation near the administrative border of the occupied peninsula. It’s not just aviation and helicopters, which constantly patrol the Black Sea waters. Also, we monitor the movement of military hardware near the border. As far as we know, this takes place within the framework of the exercises involving the units stationed in the occupied Crimea. The situation still has a high degree of dynamism,” he said.
As previously reported, yesterday, the 2nd of March, about 3 thousand troops from military units of Crimea and the Northern Caucasus area were alerted for training under a surprise operability test.
