The third in the last days small missile ship Mirage of the Black Sea Fleet left Sevastopol (Crimea) for the coast of Syria. It was reported by a source in the power structures of Crimea.

“The third small missile ship Mirage of the Black Sea Fleet set its course from Sevastopol for the Mediterranean Sea,” said the source.

Earlier, two small missile ships Serpukhov and Zeleny Dol (Green Dale), armed with Calibre cruise missiles, left for Syria on October 3. Unlike them, Mirage carries Malakhit anti-ship missiles.

In late September, the official representative of the Black Sea Fleet reported that the operational Mediterranean fleet of the Russian Federation consisted of up to 10 ships and vessels from three Russian fleets. Another one surface combatant squadron led by the Admiral Kuznetsov aircraft carrier will join the fleet in the coming months.
