Russia will return Ukraine its battleships and other military equipment, which were captured by the Russians during the occupation of Crimea, after normalization of relations between the two countries. This was stated by former Russian Black Sea Fleet commander, Admiral Igor Kasatonov.

“The ships will be returned when the relations between Kiev and Moscow normalize. We have a whole program of return. It is not about the ships only but other equipment and weaponry, including tanks too. Nobody’s going to keep them there,” said Kasatonov.

As a reminder, Ukrainian experts do not advise to look to the return of the warships from the occupied Crimea, but to build a modern Navy.
