Russia is carrying out air exercises in Crimea

More than 50 aircraft and helicopters are participating in the tactical flight exercises beginning today in Crimea and the Rostov Oblast of Russia.

“More than 50 aircraft, among which the Army aviation Mi-28n, Ka-52 and Mi-35m helicopters, An-12, An-26 transport aircraft, as well as the latest double upgrades of Su-30 and Su-27 fighters, are taking part in the exercises,” says the press-service of the Russian southern military district.

More than 2.5 thousand pilots, onboard experts and ground service specialists are involved in the exercise too.
