The Russian FSB Border Management says that Finnish and Estonian border guards have no claims against the cars with the license plates of the 82nd region (the so-called “Crimean” license plates) and let them pass freely.
This is reported by the Russian portal about Finland fontanka.fi.
“About 500 cars with registration plates of the 82nd region with no cases of prohibition to enter the territory of neighbouring states have crossed the Finnish-Russian and the Russian-Estonian borders since April 1, 2016,” writes the portal.
At this, 85% of the above mentioned 500 autos entered Finland and 15% — Estonia.
As a reminder, Russia reserves the 82nd region license plates for the annexed Crimea.
