Russia has put the Mejlis in the list of extremist organizations

The website of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation reports that the Crimean Tatar people Mejlis is included in the “list of public associations and religious organizations, which activities are clamp down for extremism” in Russia.

“Since April 18, 2016 the Crimean Tatar people Mejlis is in the list of public and religious associations which activities are banned for extremism”, said the statement.
