Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on association of the Crimean Federal District and the Southern Federal District of the Russian Federation.
This is announced by the Kremlin press service.
Vladimir Ustinov, who was the plenipotentiary envoy in the Southern District, is appointed the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in the newly formed Federal District.
Oleg Belaventsev, who was the plenipotentiary envoy of the Russian President in Crimea, is appointed the Representative of the President in the North Caucasus Federal District.
As a reminder, today Putin has signed a decree on resignation of the so-called “Governor” of Sevastopol Sergey Menyailo.
