Russia gets its Black Sea Fleet in Crimea fully operational

The Russian armed forces began exercises to get the Black Sea Fleet fully operational in the annexed Crimea.

This was announced by Speaker of the State Border Service of Ukraine Oleg Slobodian at a briefing.

“During the last week we have monitored RF military units’ exercises in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea. In particular, the exercises include trainings to get the Black Sea Fleet fully operational,” he said.

Field exercises and tactical training of the 126th Coast Guard Separate Brigade, the 810th Marine Infantry Separate Brigade and the 8th Artillery Regiment have been placed on record on the military training areas of Opuk and Zarechnoye .

The same exercises take place in the numerous RF’s military field camps near the administrative border of Crimea and the mainland Ukraine.
