Police detained an inhabitant of Simferopol for a Ukraine flag

A local resident with a Ukraine flag was detained by police in Simferopol (Crimea) during the day of Russia on June 12.

According to eyewitnesses, the incident took place in an urban park.

Passers-by entered into a dispute with the man and then called the police.

The police officers drew up a protocol on disturbance of public peace and took the man to a police station. The man kept on holding the flag and screaming out “Glory to Ukraine!” through the window of the patrol automobile and one of the policemen roughly answered “Shut up!”
