Russian enforcers detained more than 10 people, who by cars moved to the places of sorrowful events dedicated to the Memory Day for victims of Crimean Tatars deportation in Crimea.
According to activist Zaire Smedlyaev, detentions were held in Bakhchisaray, Sudak and the village of Lgovskoe of the Kirov District. The official reason for the detention is the traffic rules violation and the automotive columns formation.
Today, the 19-th of May, the court inflict penalty of 20 hours of public works for each of the four detainees.
The18-th of May is the Memory Day for victims of Crimean Tatars deportation from Crimea. More than 180 thousand people were deported from the peninsula to Central Asia in 1944.
