Members of the Mejlis are called in for questioning due to the ejection of collaborators

Members of the Crimean Tatar people Mejlis, as well as some delegates to the Crimean Tatar people Kurultay are urgently called in for interrogation to the Counter Extremism Centre.

This was reported by the Deputy Chairman of the Mejlis Nariman Celal.

According to him, law-enforcers are interested in the Mejlis’ decision to suspend the members of the Mejlis Emirali Ablaev, Ruslan Yakubov and Ajder Adzhimambetov, as well as in dismissal of the last of the Mejlis Deputy Chairman.

On September 22, the Crimean Tatar people Mejlis decided to suspend the membership of three people for collaborating with the occupation authorities: Deputy Chairman of the Mejlis Ajder Adzhimambetov, Mufti of Crimea Emirali Ablaev and Russian official Ruslan Yakubov.
