Lithuania has forbidden entry to its territory for the persons involved in the Ukrainian pilot Nadezda Savchenko’s case frame-up in Russia.

The Minister for Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkyavičius confirmed this information.

In addition to the “list of Savchenko,” the persons involved in the Crimeans Oleg Sentsov and Olexandr Kolchenko condemnation are declared banned too.

“Specifically we are talking about Russian judges and prosecutors, who have directly participated in the cases. Currently we has already identified 46 people banned to enter the territory of Lithuania,” said Linkyavičius, specifying that the list is subject to update.

The list includes people who have participated in criminal cases against Savchenko, filmmaker Sentsov and human rights activist Kolchenko.

“We do not recognize these framed-up in our view cases legal, and all the directly involved persons such as judges, prosecutors, representatives of the breakaway Donetsk and Lugansk “republics” are in this list,” said Linkevičius.

According to him, Lithuania is the first country of the EU, which has formed such a list. The Minister hopes that this step of Vilnius will encourage other EU countries to follow.
