Jamala Jamala

The only Crimean music radio station “The Sea” can not broadcast songs of some Ukrainian singers.

So, the Crimean radio is prohibited to broadcast the Ukrainian singers Ruslana, Jamala and “Vopli Vidoplyasova” as well as “Lyapis Trubetskoy’s” song “Daybreakers” (Ukrainian revolution anthem).

This was told by journalist Ivan Zhilin.

“There are restrictions on Ukrainians. For example, Jamala is banned at all by the Chief Editor. But many want to listen to especially her new hit “1944”,” Zhilin cited the words of an employee of the radio station.
