In Crimea the Russian election turnout is lower than the Ukrainian one

As of September 18, 6:00 p.m. the State Duma of the Russian Federation election turnout was lower than the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine one in Crimea and Sevastopol in 2012.

The Russian Central Election Commission reports that the official turnout was 42.37% in Crimea and 40.32% in Sevastopol as of 6:00 p.m.

The comparative data during the last Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine election was 49.45% for Crimea and 49.65 % for Sevastopol.
