FSB searched the Ukrainian society “Prosvìta” in Sevastopol


The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) officers have searched the Department of All-Ukrainian Shevchenko Society “Prosvìta” (“Enlightenment”) in Sevastopol.

More than 250 books printed in publishing facilities of Canada, France, the United States and Ukraine were seized during the searches.

The enforcers insist that there are18 copies of 9 editions included in the federal list of extremist materials among the seized books.

According to FSB, the confiscated literature was meant “the Ukrainian nationalism and separatism ideas propagation among the inhabitants of Russia.”
