Ukrainian President’s Advisor and former Secretary General of NATO Anders Fogh Rasmussen said that it should not be an urgent priority for Ukraine to return Crimea, but would be kept on the agenda.

“Of course, it is the goal of all the Western States in the long run. As we have never recognized the illegal incorporating the three Baltic States — Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania by the Soviet Union, so we will never recognize unlawful annexation of Crimea to Russia. But I will advise not to put an urgent priority on this matter. At the moment you need to concentrate on other issues: reforms, full implementation of the Minsk accords and so on,” said Rasmussen.
