Equipment is imported to construct power plants in Crimea

Equipment is imported to construct gas turbine power plants (GTPPs) in Crimea and Sevastopol.

In particular, Crimea has received units, made in Russia, from Voronezh. The units are intended to produce vapour.

According to some information sources, the new equipment will be installed in February, 2017.

The press service of the Ministry of Energy of Russia and the management of the Sevastopol TPP do not comment on the installation.

Earlier media reported that Russia had cooked up how to deliver four turbines from the German Concern Siemens for the power plants under construction in Crimea dodging the sanctions.
