Member of the Executive Council of the World Congress of Crimean Tatars Erwin Ibragimov is kidnapped in Crimea. His friends and relatives believe he was detained by Russian security forces.

Ibragimov’s car was found open next to his house in Bakhchisaray. He makes no contacts and anybody knows nothing about his present whereabouts. “The car was opened, the keys were in the ignition lock, but he cannot still be found and it’s unknown, where he is,” said the Chairman Deputy of the Crimean Tatar people Mejlis Nariman Dzelyal.

It became known later that the activist had been kidnapped by people in the traffic police uniform and this moment had been recorded by surveillance cameras.
