The “speaker” of the Crimean “State Council” Vladimir Konstantinov has informed journalists that next week a delegation of Crimea is going to visit China.
“We hope that after multiple meetings and negotiations the business of China will begin to work and invest in the economy of Crimea. This is the main objective of our visit,” he said.
The Crimean “Premier” Sergey Aksenov refused to reveal details of the visit. “Our delegation will visit Beijing on Sunday,” he said.
The visit of the delegation headed by Konstantinov will last until May 18. Also the visit will be assisted the Crimean Prime Minister Deputy Georgi Muradov, Minister of resorts and tourism Sergey Strelbicky, Rector of the Federal University of Crimea Serhiy Donich, as well as several deputies. Their mission is “to present the tourist and investment potential of the peninsula”. Exhibitions, state reception and individual meetings are planned.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has not commented the visit yet.
