Crimean enterprises are added to the US sanction list


On December 20 the US Ministry of Finance extended the sanction to the individuals and the companies involved in the armed aggression and violation of the territorial integrity of Ukraine.

The list is published on the official website of the US Ministry of Finance.

In particular, the United States has imposed sanctions on seven Russian citizens: President of the National Media Group Kirill Kovalchuk; members of the Board of Directors of the Russia Joint Stock Bank Dmitry Lebedev, Mikhail Klishin and Dmitry Mansurov; Senior Manager of the same bank Mikhail Dedov; Chairman of the Board of Sobinbank Oleg Minaev and businessman Eugeniy Prigozhin.

More than 30 companies from Russia and Crimea, including Strojproekt, Crimean sea ports, Crimean railroads, RosHimTrade, Transpetrochart, Karst, Solid and Trans-Flot, are put under the sanctions too. In particular, the above-mentioned Karst and Strojproekt participate in the construction of the Kerch Bridge from Russia to Crimea.

The United States has previously extended the sanctions to the individuals and entities involved in the Russian aggression and occupation of the Ukrainian territories. The sanctions are applied against 17 Russian and Ukrainian citizens, as well as against more than 100 companies.
