Crimean assets of Poroshenko’s companion was bought by a Russian agroholding

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko’s companion and multimillionaire Yuri Kosyuk sold his Crimean assets to the Russian Miratorg Group for an undisclosed fee.

Miratorg is a major Russian agroindustrial holding, one of the leaders in the meat market of the Russian Federation. Russian businessmen, brothers Victor and Alexander Linniks are the founders and owners of Miratorg.

Russian media reports that Miratorg gain favor of the highest RF authorities.

As previously reported, Kosyuk’s Myronivsky Hliboproduct had sold its assets in Crimea three years after the annexation of the peninsula.

The share had been sold in all Crimean subsidiaries of the company: the Druzhba Narodov Nova battery farm, the Crimean Fruit Company and the Druzhba Narodov meat factory.
