Today, the 28th of October, the ferry “Varyag” is set first sail from Sevastopol (Crimea) for the Turkish city of Zonguldak.
This was announced by Director of the Crimean Sea Agency Stanislav Gvozdilov.
“The resumption of ferry service is due to the warming relationship between Russia and Turkey,” said Gvozdilov.
According to him, the transportation will be performed four times per month. It is planned to transport food, building materials and consumer goods.
Gvozdilov added that there was no permanent ferry schedule because this was subject to weather conditions.
