Head of the Crimean Parliament Committee for Sanatorium-Resort Complex and Tourism Alexey Chernyak says that Crimea will be visited by a group of scientists from the UK on February 9-12.
According to him, the visit has for its aim to explore the possibilities of the region in developing archaeological tourism.
“The group will consist of three people who are scientists from the University of Bristol and representatives of the English Military History Live historical magazine. They want to discuss questions on conducting joint excavations in Crimea with involvement of students and professional archaeologists, as well as attracting tourists from the UK,” said Chernyak.
But he has not specified the names of the scientists yet.
