The Naval Forces of Ukraine have adopted seven class Willard high-speed American boats.
This was announced by military journalist Roman Bochkala.
“Seven class Willard high-speed American boats have already been adopted. Five of them are 7 meters long and two — 11 meters long,” wrote Bochkala in Facebook.
According to him, the cost of the boats was 300 and 800 thousand dollars per unit, respectively, including the training of the crew and rigging equipment. The American Foreign Military Financing Fund has financed the purchase of the boats.
Also, according to the journalist, the Naval Forces of Ukraine will get two more class Iland American boat soon. “Those ones are used for the coast guard needs in the States,” he said.
