34 prisoners from Crimea wished to leave for Ukraine


Total 34 prisoners from Crimea asked the Ukrainian Ombudsman Valeriya Lutkovska to serve their sentence on the mainland part of Ukraine.

The head of the Secretariat of the Ombudsman Bogdan Kriklivenko has informed about it, commenting on the agreement to transfer prisoners from the annexed Crimea to Ukraine. At the same time, he says that the list is still opened.

Previously, the Ukrainian Ombudsman Valeriya Lutkovska stated about an agreement with the Russian counterpart Tatyana Moskalkova to transfer 18 Ukrainian citizens serving their sentence in Crimea, to the territory of the Mainland Ukraine. She also confirmed that the list of prisoners was not complete and subject for further discussion.
