2 thousand Crimeans will be called up for Russian military service in spring


1.5 to 2 thousand residents of Crimea will be called up for the armed forces of Russia in the spring of 2017.

This was told about by Military Commissar of Crimea Anatoly Maloletko during a press conference.

“This year’s call-up in Crimea will be a little bigger than that one in the autumn last year. This is due to the Black Sea Fleet additionally needs certain specialists. We plan to call up 1.5 to 2 thousand residents of Crimea,” said the Commissar.

It is also assumed that approximately 200 inhabitants will be sent to the military units in other regions of Russia.
